Summit Point Driver Education Event
Date:
Location: Registration Form Tech Inspection Form Student Package We're limiting this event to 90 cars, including instructors, so don't wait - register now! This event is open to both novice and experienced drivers. Trained instructors will be on hand both days to help you learn about handling, braking, turn-in points, apexes, track out points, and more. These are all lessons that will help make you a better and safer driver on the street. And no one will force you to drive any faster than your comfort zone allows. It is important that you read and understand the contents of the Student Package - be sure to print it out and read the whole thing. This year we're back on the Shenandoah Circuit. From the Summit Point web site: “At variable lengths ranging between 1.68 and 2.2 miles, the Shenandoah Circuit is a no-holds-barred technical challenge that will take years to master. Sporting a dimensional replica of the Nurburgring, with 20 degree banking, camber changes (including negative) incorporated with decreasing radius corners positioned on vertical drops, the Shenandoah Circuit is an odds-on favorite to be the most technical track in the country.” You can drive any car you wish, as long as it has $100,000 liability coverage and passes a mandatory tech inspection. Convertibles require a roll bar, pop-up roll bar or a hard top. All cars must be inspected before the event at a dealer or independent shop, and you must bring the signed or stamped safety inspection form to the event. Listen! Track driving will make you a better driver. Since GWS driving events are all about learning, the stress levels are low and the fun levels are high. You (and your instructor) will spend your track time learning how to drive the course as fast as you feel comfortable going. This is a great way to work off some of the stress in your life. You won't know what fun is until you get off the Beltway and try a performance driving school. And, if you can't make both days, at least consider coming out for one. Plan now on joining us! If you have any questions, please call Joe Wozney at 703.437.7866 or via email. RegistrationRegistration for the event is $375 for both days or $215 for one day. BSR, Inc. charges $250 for their Friday at the Track (FATT) days, so you're saving $35 for a one-day and $125 for the full two-day event. After July 18, and at the track, registration will be $410 and $250 respectively. You can complete, print, and email the interactive registration form above using Adobe's Acrobat Reader.
