Well, the weather didn't exactly cooperate this year, but despite a dismal forecast for the night before, Sunday the 17th of May turned out ok. While the field was a little wet, we were still able to stage cars on the grass. Despite a lower than usual turnout, due in part to the weather-related rescheduling and rainy weather, we had some very nice cars. The mix of returning Deutsche Marque regulars and new GWS members out for their first events made for a great day. And, except for the wind taking the GWS 10x20 pavilion for a short flight, the day was a very smoothly run success. Special thanks go to Ray Lombardo for all the work he did in coordinating and organizing the event. Thanks also to the volunteers who came out to help handle the many tasks that go into making an event like this a success.
